Gas Disposal, Transfer or Treatment

Is there a simple contraption available to siphon gas out of a snowthrower tank? My thoughts were to transfer gas from the snow thrower to my portable tank used for the lawn mower. Also, I briefly read either here (or somewhere) about a product that treats old gas stored from the previous winter so that it can be used without damaging the carburetor/engine. I think I would rather remove/transfer gas to the lawnmower. Here in New England, it's not unsual to be removing snow and then mow the lawn within a few weeks of each other. Lubrication: What's out there to apply grease to the auger fittings? Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of any way to fix rotten gas - but you should use a fuel treatment regularly (Stabil is what I use and recommend). Then you can just dump leftover fuel into a full tank on another vehicle that requires regular gas. A pickup would be a better choice than a Turbo Carrera for example. A mini grease gun works fine for greasing the auger shaft - any auto parts store will sell you one for less than US$10. Don't bother with a full-sized one, unless you don't already have one and plan on using a general purpose grease. I keep a mini gun loaded with the Ariens special grease sitting on the shelf, reserved for just the snow thrower. John Davies Spokane WA

Go buy a turkey baster. Long plastic tube with rubber bulb at the top. Squeeze bulb, stick in tank, suck up the old gas-repeat till empty. Put old gas in car or truck.Gets diluted down pretty good. T.J.
Put it where the Big iron wheel runs!!!
