How to tighten Ariens adjustable chute

On my ariens snowblower the chute is loose, it moves left to right fine but it will not stay in any position except far left and far right. If I put it in the middle when it starts throwing the snow it vibrates to either side. Any suggestions how to fix this? Thanks |

there is a nut compressed against a spring below where the rod connects to the chute. tighten the nut.
