I bought a discharge chute on eBay that was new and had the part number 52411300 written on it.

What model # Ariens does this fit?  I was told it went on a 932 series machine but looked through Parts Radar and didn't find it. It's roughly 28 or 29" long measured along the back arc from bottom to top.

You won't  find the discharge chute PN:  52411300 because it has been superceded by PN 52410900.

 The price is $141.80.

Thanks - is this the interim design that was replaced by one with deeper sides?

I just had access to the part numbers, not the pictures. I assume you are alluding to the free blow-by kit offered for the 2003 and earlier Arien's models. Yes, the newer snowblowers have a redesigned wider chute flange.  I don't know if they incorporated that fix in the newer part numbers for your year.  I would call Ariens or Email them.

I can't see from the above photo if the chute has  holes in the flange which would possibly allow a blow-by kit to bolt up..

Here's the side. The ;atest version seems to be deeper at the top.

My chute has the same 2 holes located at the same angle with the distance between them being 3 1/8 " The bottom of my chute is almost 6 inches at the widest point of the flange. The curvature of my chute looks about the same as yours.

 Maybe your machine has different snow throwing characteristics and does not need a blow-by kit. BTW, the blow-by kit flange is 16 inches long and is designed for the right side of the chute from an operators perspective. The right side only had the blow-by problem when the chute was cranked fully to the right. The snow used to pile up on my battery tray.

The newer chutes have a couple of  inches added to the flange width.

You replied to an earlier post I made about a 79 vintage ariens 824... could you please tell me what Briggs OHV engine you put on yours?  Does it make an exact fit?
