Hi again Garandman: I just had access to the part numbers, not the pictures. I assume you are alluding to the free blow-by kit offered for the 2003 and earlier Arien's models. Yes, the newer snowblowers have a redesigned wider chute flange. I don't know if they incorporated that fix in the newer part numbers for your year. I would call Ariens or Email them. I can't see from the above photo if the chute has holes in the flange which would possibly allow a blow-by kit to bolt up.. Regards, Bill

You replied to an earlier post I made about a 79 vintage ariens 824... could you please tell me what Briggs OHV engine you put on yours? Does it make an exact fit?
My model is 924050 sn: 019151
