I recently inherited one of these beauties.  It looks like it has been sitting in an unheated shed for several years with no use, but otherwise fairly well taken care of.

Sears doesn' t have the manual availabe on the web or for purchase.  Does anyone have any info at all about this thing?

The only thing I have been able to find is a parts diagram that is dated 1976 from sears.

Having just come across your question, I am now responding.  I have one, too.  I have a Craftsman 536-87045 9 inch Edger Trimmer 1976.  Did you find any information for this tool?  Could use any help you can provide.
