I just purchased a used Ariens ST824,It has a replacement  Snowking eng. Of course I found this forum after and hope I made the right decision. I am trying to figure out how old the machine is. If anyone can decipher these numbers I would appreciate it.  Model # 924050  Serial # 081306. Thanks

THE ABOVE IS THE LINK TO THE MANUAL. (if i ot the #s right) MANUAL is (FROM HE ARIENS' SITE..  IT SAYS THAT IT WAS printed on 6/86.

as fred says ariens will give u the info via phone---or Snowmann sometimes provides that info.

I have same machine, similar serial #, built 1995. YMMV.

I am very impressed with Ariens Customer Service, I sent e-mail on Sunday and I heard back from them today, production date was 10/22/1986. Another oldie but goodie.
