need basic carb specs and recommended  no load high rpm setting. engine runs fairly well but coughs or hickups a bit at high rpm. float level is 7/32 when inverted main jet is further out than 1 1/2 turns( 2 1/2 i'd guess) and mixture screw is very close to 1 turn. have some questions on governor linkage .what is the proper adjustment for the rod between the throttle shaft  plate and governor link ? the rod on the carb end is in the second hole in from the clossest side of the plate facing the governor, is this correct? i guess i know the theory on this but i don't know how to set it up right.it is an 8 hp horizontal shaft tecumseh with a type three tecumseh carb. the one that has the single screw holding the carb butterfly on. any carb specs and adjustment info would be greatly appreciated. i'm thinking about taking the carb back off and thourghly cleaning it but would like to know the specifics on what is critical to get cleaned before doing so. thanks mkd55
