Hey Marshall, Been watching the WTB and Abbys for some time. But an Okie that knows about shoo-fly pie, this place has my kind of people. (Dad grew up in OKC (he was an OU Sooner, Grandfather was a SOONER, lots of relatives around that area) Thanks for moderating the site. If I didn't speak up soon I would become lost in what this site could one day become. Originally I was searching Toro info, saw wtb-lawnmower but figured I would open the link because there wasn't many blower sites out there. Glad I did. Again, many thanks Walt

For Marshall - - am I in the right place ??

As u can see, I got "registered" but can't seem to get to the "forum/site" I saw last night

Any advice - or instructions (which after 34 years of marriage, I'm good at following).

Is there a "how to" on updating one's profile ??

Hi Roger if you go up to the upper right corner of the page and press "my account" it takes you to the place to edit info. I am not really up on all the image stuff; however I am using IE. (I have been pretty much the silent majority for quite some time. See you around! Walt

Hey Walt,

Thanks for being a member and making then move over here. As you have read and observed most are going to be on the lawnmower site, hopefully soon to be called the OPE site which will encompass all of it. That way we won't be broken up like this example right here.

Glad to have another man with Oklahoma genes around here Walt! We're a pretty good group of guys here, I'm glad you're joing us! Anything I can ever do to help on the forum, please let me know.

Oh yea, I only knew about Shoo-fly pie because I have actually eaten it before at a resturant in Va.

I just joined this evening and have tried to find this new "Snow Blower" forum but it appears to be the OPE forum. Clicking on the "Discussions" tab gives me a listing  of the OPE forum discussions, including this thread. Also, if I go the the home page and select Snow Blowers under the Outdoor & Sports section, I get a screen that shows only the "Home" and "Reviews" tabs. There is no Discussion tab.  Am I doing something wrong? I certainly don't want to be posting in the wrong forum and getting folks upset...

I am looking at the Toro 828LXE snow blower and have some questions regarding it. Can someone tell me where I should post those questions?

Thanks,

Don - Minden, Nevada

I intend to buy a snowblower. How important is the chute, steel or hard plastic? Ed

Hi. I hope you're all having a nice day.

I'm not, and here's why:

I've spent the past 45 minuyes trying to start a Lawn Boy 320R

I squirt some starter fluid into the air intake of the carb, yank the cord, and it starts, then it runs for several seconds and dies.

I've been doing this for a while and I fear I'm going to run out of dtarter fluid.

There is a full tank of gas, the proper mix of oil, and the fuel is not clogged in the line going to the carb. I checked.
