Here is the question Arient 926E or the 7524E
Original Message   Nov 28, 2005 7:08 am
So I have made the decision to buy an Ariens snowblower, but I am cannot decide on which model to get.... I live in Nova Scotia and we get quite a bit of snow...heavy at times 12" and the driveway is 300 " and a downhill slope to the road.  I know the 7524E has the OHV and the 926E has the L-Head  but i cannot afford the DLE models or the 11 E.   I have been reading bigger is better so i am leaning toward the 926 E

Any help would be appreciated

thanks for all your help

I would also go with the 926LE. I have 2 Arien's machines. One is the 8526LE which has the 23.5" intake chute which is much taller than the chute height of the 7524 compact series.

When going up hill, you probably will have to lock both wheels to get the traction you need, especially in a 12" storm and higher.

You bought yourself a quality machine.
