Ariens 8526 black dust question
Original Message   Oct 17, 2005 7:29 am
Hi All,

I have a Ariens 8526 that I am getting ready for winter, its new last year, I took off the the black plastic
cover were the belts are, and noticed that there is a bit of black fiber dust all over the under side of the cover
and on the machine and around this whole area. Is this normal and if so or if not were does this come from and why.

Thanks

Max

When your machine does not have the auger or drive engaged, the belts are still touching the output sheave on the engine.
Creating black dust......

"They all do that."
