Hi, A local dealer is selling new ST926DLE for $999. I need a new snowblower and would like to know what people think of this machine and if it is worth the price. I live in southern mass and last year we got slammed with snow. One storm dropped 36 inches.

I went to the dealer today and he told me it was a misprint and the ad was wrong. The model without the locking differentials,  handwarmers, and with a l-head engine was $999. The delux model was $1500. I complained but he wouldn't budge on his price. So I didn't buy one. I will have to wait for a deal.

That's too bad.  The non differentials are a deluxe model.  Ariens sometimes throws in a cheaper model with a differential either in the deluxe line or the pro line.
