Any recommendations on hedge trimmers?

I'm in the market for a hedge trimmer and would appreciate any advice and/or recommendations you may have. One question I have is whether there is a preference for gas vs. electric? I have plenty of available electric outlets near the hedges that are my primary concern. Thanks in advance for any suggestions/information. |

I have both electric and gas. I haven't used the electric since I bought the Echo. No comparison between the two. Marc
