Snapper Contest Winner

OK, who won the Snapper contest?  I thought it was supposed to be decided on May 28. 

I wore my Snapper hat all day yesterday for good luck.  They didn't call or email me.

Snapper's "It's That Easy" Mowing Contest
OFFICIAL RULES


1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED.

2. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the Continental United States and District of Columbia, excluding Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska, who are 18 years of age or older at time of entry. All officers, directors and employees of Simplicity Manufacturing Inc., its subsidiary companies, affiliates, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, advertising and promotional agencies involved in the administration, promotion and execution of this Contest, and the immediate families (parent, grandparent, child, sibling or spouse of any of the foregoing) and household members of each are not eligible. Void in Puerto Rico, Hawaii and Alaska and where prohibited by law. Contest starts on or about 12:00:01 a.m. ET on 3/15/05 and ends on 4/30/05 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET.

3. To Enter: log on to www.snapper.com during the above stated promotion period and complete the official entry form (including name, address, phone, email address, age, sex, size of property, current type and brand of mower and age of current mower) and a 50 -150 word essay in English explaining in a creative and persuasive way "Why you would like a new easy-to-use Snapper mower". Entry must be received by 4/30/05 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Limit one (1) entry per household. Sponsor is not responsible for and will not honor lost, late, misdirected, illegible, incomplete or misrouted entries. All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Submission of an entry grants Sponsor and its agents the right to publish, use, adapt, edit and/or modify such entry in any way, in any and all media, without limitation, and without consideration to the entrant. Submission of any entry further constitutes the entrant's consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to the Sponsor any and all rights, title and interest in the entry, including, without limitation, all copyrights. Entries: must be the original work of the entrant; may not have won previous awards; may not have been published previously and must not infringe third-party rights, and must be suitable for publication (i.e., may not be obscene or indecent).

4. Judging: Round 1: All eligible entries received will be judged by Promotion Fulfillment Center, an independent judging organization, who will select two hundred (200) semi-finalists. Round 1 judging will be completed on/about 5/21/05. Round 2: The two hundred (200) semi-finalist entries from Round 1 will be judged by Snapper and Lindsay, Stone and Briggs who will select twenty (20) finalists. Round 2 judging will be completed on/about 5/26/05. Round 3: The twenty (20) finalist entries from Round 2 will be judged by Brett Favre who will determine the grand prize winner and the five (5) runner-up winners. Round 3 judging will be completed on/about 5/28/05. Each submission shall be judged based upon the following criteria: creativity (35%), desire (35%) and persuasiveness (30%).

5. Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize: prize consists of the winner's choice of a new Snapper Zero Turn XL (Model HZT21480BV) or a new Snapper High Performance Yard Tractor (Model YT22500) and a Brett Favre autographed jersey. (Total Approximate Retail Value: $5,349.99). Five (5) Runner-up Prizes: prize consists of a new Snapper 21" walk-behind self-propelled mulching mower (Model RP217018BVE) and a Brett Favre autographed photo. (Approximate Retail Value: $719.99). (Total approximate retail value of all prizes is $8,949.94). Grand and runner-up winner(s) will be notified by mail and required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and a liability/publicity release to be returned within 14 days of date notice was sent or date set by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. If prize is won by an eligible minor it will be awarded to such minor's parent or legal guardian who must sign and return all required documentation. If prize notification or any prize is returned as undeliverable prize will be forfeited. Limit one prize per person. All taxes on prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Prizes may not be transferred. No prize substitutions except as provided herein. No cash redemptions. If for any reason, prize cannot be awarded as stated herein, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. General Conditions: Acceptance of prizes constitutes permission to use winners' entries, and their names and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation in any and all media now known or hereinafter without territorial restriction (except where prohibited by law). By entering, entrants (or their parent or legal guardian if entrant is a minor) agree that Simplicity Manufacturing Inc. and Snapper (including its officers, directors, employees, subsidiary companies, affiliates, manufacturers, distributors and retailers) and their advertising and promotional agencies shall have no liability and shall be released and held harmless by entrants for any damage, loss or liability to person or property, due in whole or part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of prize or participation in this sweepstakes or any prize related activities. Any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this contest, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by arbitration. Any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this contest, but in no event attorney's fees. Contest is void where prohibited. By entering, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, participant's rights and obligations, or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Game, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of State of Wisconsin, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the State of Wisconsin or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than State of Wisconsin. By entering, all entrants consent to the jurisdiction and venue of the federal, state and local courts located in Port Washington, Wisconsin for the resolution of all disputes. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Contest and award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Sponsor, should fraud, virus, bugs or other causes beyond the control of Sponsor corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the game. With respect to computer entries, sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an electronic entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the "authorized account holder" person in whose name the email account is registered, provided that person meets all eligibility criteria set forth in the Eligibility section of these Official Rules. "Authorized Holder" shall mean the natural person assigned to an email address by an Internet Access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted email address. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.

7.
