got the FS55RC model...............

this thing runs alot stronger than my bigger cc Ryobi..........................

does the straight shaft transfer more power to the head than my Ryobi's curved shaft ? .......................

my wife wanted to buy me a $99 no name trimmer..................

it took a couple hours to explain to her the difference.................

I purchased the Stihl trimmer last year and could not be happier.  THey work great and do have a ton of power.  THe Echo motor may be a bit smoother than the Stihl, either way you would have a  quality product ath will serve you well.  Congrats!!
