Anyone use this one........ The Panasonic DMC-FZ20 offers a 5 megapixel resolution and a 12X stabilized Leica zoom.

Have any thoughts? it has captured my eye!

Marshall, as you know, I bought the Panasonic DMC-FZ3 which is the little brother of this one. It's 3MP with the 12X optical zoom. It was in our price range, ($300-$350). The main reason we got this one was for the zoom, the image stabilization, and the well built lens. 3MP is enough for our purposes. We wanted the zoom for nature and sporting events pics. While Circuit City was selling this for $399, I bought it online for $301 with no Issues. While I am happy with it so far, I would like to work with it some more before I do a review. I researched pretty good and felt for me, this was the best bang for the buck. It is also listed under the reviews on the link you posted. Heres another review.

The FZ20 you like looks sweet and is a heartier camera. Some where I heard, what is it, ummmmm, oh yeah.
Over powered is usually adequate.   LOL

Hey Marshall I'm a little late lol. But I got a Sony Cyber shot 41. mega pixels. I think I paid little over 2 for it. We really like it , specialy when you live with a woman that spends bout 150.00 a month getting pictures developed. The only thing It lacks on is the zooom though.

If you are asking for the "best", well there isn't one. All cameras have their own pros and cons.
