Original Message   Jan 27, 2005 10:22 pm
I just wrote a review on a video card. For those who are like me that are into more than just OPE, then you should click the link bellow. Please tell me how well I did?

Hay Ajace, no problem. I Pulled up some information for you. The ATI AIW 9800 Pro does not support MCE 2005! Infact many are having problems with that card trying to do it. Drivers issues and so on. But here is a ATI card that does.

The ATI X600, X700 and the X800 are all good cards to upgrade to that support MCE 2005.

And yet, I could not stop helping you until I found you a link Please Click Here

Hay check this out Ajace. I was playing some HL2 and was having too much fun with exploding barrels so I decided to post some screenshots in sequential order.

To get a better look at these right click and click on save as. Basically, save to your computer and open photoshop or simular program and resise them . Or you could just zoom in. Whatever way you prefer. I wanted them to display larger orginnaly, but it was making the thread look too trashy.

Wow Terminator that looks like real fun.  Isn't the gas you have in the hand?  How did you get the screenshots taken?  I like having control of the computer with a remote, but the AIW cards seemed to have everything there, all inputs and outputs.

In Half Life 2, if you press the F5 key, it will take a screenshot. But to find where it saved your screen shot, you will have to go here. They will be in JPG format.

Terminator20,

Have you heard of the video cards

XFX - 6800 GT - GEFORCE 6800 GT 256MB? $529.99

Or how about the BFG - 6800 Ultra OC - NVIDIA GeForce 6800 Ultra Memory 256MB (overclocked to run as 512MB) $699.99

I was wondering what your opinion might be as they are both expensive and I am not to sure which would be better for their price

My friend says the BFG is the best out there right now.

Both are sold at www.cas-tech.ca (where I would like our PC to be built from).

Your friend is right BFG and XFS are close but BFG is the best. Those are both really good cards and will kick a**. However,  ATI,  MSI, Gainward, and Asus are what most gamers buy out there. For gaming, you really don't need the 256MB version of the card though. However, if you plan to build levels, or do any cad applications, then you should deffinetly get the 256MB version. Either way, both are good cards and will serve you well. If it were me though, I would buy a MSI, but hay, thats just me.
