hey friiy,

just thought l would say your info on carb adjustment/operation was prefect!! very well said. anyone with surging problems should read what friiy wrote very good info. they should post this at the top of this forum becuase l think alot people can use this infomation.

if i have to make the Z bend in a cable thats broken l heat it glowing red first its bends much easier then and wont break on u.. l just use my hand held torch for solidering wire it work great. but l wouldnt mind getting one of those kits for the shop it looks neat and handy!

well in my experince your belt is probally 34 inch its probally worn out thats were your getting the half inch, if the width of the belt narrows (wears down) it can add length when measuring, but like borat said if the belt goes on the pulleys and and your able to adjust it proberlly then everything should be fine.

ps 1 inch difference in belts will make a big difference.

l know this is off topic a little but thought l would mention it... on my sump pump l have a back up battery system that in the case of a power outage it would still turn the pump on, u can get them for about $100 and up plus a deep cycle battery which is about $100 give or take. its good insurance if your basement is finished... like even if u go away for a weekend good piece of mind.

Tremclad also works very well, especailly over rusted area!
